RentSpree Generates $10 Million for Multiple Listing Services Partners

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 23, 2024) — RentSpree, the top-rated rental software provider in the U.S., announced today that it has generated $10 million in revenue for its industry partners. Through providing its award-winning tenant screening feature and other value-add tools for members, RentSpree has been able to drive non-dues revenue for nearly 80 MLSs as well as numerous state REALTOR® associations and proptech companies.

Over the past eight years, RentSpree has integrated with the five largest MLSs, and eight of the top ten MLSs in the U.S.  Other RentSpree partners include industry leaders such as Lone Wolf Technologies, SkySlope, and Rent. Since a $620,000 pre-seed round in 2017, RentSpree has raised a total of $28 million in Series A and B financings. These funds have enabled the company to expand its product offerings and secure additional strategic partnerships. 

Aside from its flagship tenant screening feature that allows agents to instantly access rental applicants’ reports, RentSpree has significantly expanded its rental solutions portfolio. Its latest addition is a new income verification report, which is able to verify an applicant’s income based on their bank account transactions from the past 12 to 24 months, enhancing accuracy and reducing potential fraud. Other recent additions include Rent Payment and Credit Builder, the latter allowing renters to opt into having on-time rent payments reported to a credit bureau.
