In an effort to provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Milton, RentSpree will refund application fees for victims who need to rent property as a result of forced evacuation and/or property damage from the storm.

As of Wednesday, October 9, Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on Florida’s central west coast late Wednesday or early Thursday. Milton was a Category 4 as of Wednesday morning, with tornado, hurricane, and storm surge warnings issued for multiple cities.

In preparation for the storm, Governor Ron DeSantis issued emergency orders to over 51 counties. Milton is currently threatening the Tampa Bay area, which is home to more than 3.3 million people, as well as communities still reeling from Hurricane Helene two weeks ago.
