RentSpree Waives Screening Fees for Displaced Hurricane Ian Victims
In an effort to provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Ian, RentSpree will waive application fees for victims who need to rent property as a result of forced evacuation and/or property damage from the storm.
Hurricane Ian made landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast on Wednesday, September 28th.
Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the activation of 5,000 National Guardsmen from Florida plus an additional 2,000 from neighboring states along with five urban search and rescue teams. You can find Gov. Ron DeSantis's updates on the hurricane here.
President Joe Biden declared an emergency and authorized the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in order to help coordinate disaster relief and to provide assistance to protect lives and property.
