RentSpree waives screening fees for displaced LA fire victims

In an effort to provide relief for those impacted by the devastating wildfires currently affecting Los Angeles County, RentSpree will refund application fees for individuals who need to rent property as a result of displacement and/or property damage caused by the fires.

As of January 9, 2025, wildfires have caused significant destruction across several communities in Los Angeles County, prompting mandatory evacuation orders for thousands of residents. The fires have destroyed homes and businesses, displacing countless families and individuals.

As a business founded in Los Angeles, RentSpree is here to support the LA community by offering assistance during this difficult time. We are committed to supporting displaced residents in finding new housing options as quickly and smoothly as possible.

For any agent, owner, or landlord working with those displaced due to the wildfires, RentSpree will refund any application fees processed by RentSpree as victims seek rental housing*. Please have applicants email [email protected] after submitting an application through RentSpree.

You can also donate directly to local relief organizations, such as the Los Angeles Red Cross, to support those affected by the wildfires.
